The last two campaigns of VEGA and VEGA C have validated the Water Injection System, a system for absorbing vibration and noise at launch, scalable, modulable, and suitable for any launching platform.

• 4 tanks with a capacity of approximately 22.5 m3 for each (90 m3 in total) loaded with approximately 7.5 m3 water each and pressurized up to a maximum of 6 bar
• Speed of the jets at launch: over 15 m/s
• Water flow at launch: over 4 m3/s
• Opening time of valves for system activation: about 1 s
• Minimum of 28 m3 of water discharged from the system in about 12 s.
